Bare Necessities

I want to be posting updates about how I'm adding our belongings to our new place. Instead, I've been working too much, cleaning out stuff we don't need (we're down a closet and a shed in the new place, i.e., giving crap to sisters and goodwill), walking our dogs (ahhhh we need that fence!), and watching too many episodes of Vampire Diaries on Netflix. But I do have a couple pictures ready.

In our new rental, everything but the bathrooms have been updated or remodeled or repainted. But the bathrooms aren't too teeny tiny, and even though it's old Florida tile, they're clean. And I totally love the vanities (ha..). It's no master bathroom in our first home, but but even without a new vanity and cute tile, I'm still enjoying it. I put up our "Marriage Is" poster (which I probably need to reframe in black), our shower curtain I had just put in the guest bath in our Panama City house, and some bathroom accessories.

Here's a couple sweet "before" shots I took when I came down to meet the realtor to bring him the deposit.

Not super exciting, right? That's kind of why I love it. I get to think about other things, like our furniture that now doesn't work in our house. I'm kind of Craigslist stalking the furniture section and hoping the perfect pieces pop up.
