CrossFit & Food.

Today, Patrick and I tried CrossFit. I kind of imagined we'd be doing hand stand push ups, a million burpees, upside down ring things, and 50 reps of squats with 250 pounds on the bar, looking strong and awesome like this chick. While definitely intense, I am glad we took it a little easy the first day! And by a little easy, I kind of feel like I am dying a little, but in a good way.

We are also making an attempt at cleaning up our eating - I bought The Primal Blueprint and started pinning some Paleo recipes. I made sun dried tomato meatballs tonight, and besides the fact that I overcooked them, and used pecans instead of walnuts in the sauce (I'm a fan of using what you have), they came out pretty good. It just took forever. I like cooking that you can kind of leave on the stove or in the oven for a while and come back to it... I always feel like I have too much to do to spend a lot of time cooking.

Hopefully I can actually sleep tonight after a late workout.
