front porches & lobster.

For my birthday (which was August 12), Patrick took me to Key West. I turned the big 2-7.

I saw Key West as an abundance of front porches with fruit colored adirondack chairs you just want to plop down on and sip a bloody mary or a vodka pineapple or some crisp white wine, depending on the time of day/mood, of course, and snuggle up next to each of the contrasting (or matching) candy colored front doors. It was just so dang cozy looking. We spent the entire drive home plotting how we could justify to ourselves a vacation home in the Keys....

One of my favorites.

I could call this home.

This one was under construction, but I loved how the roof and deck are painted in a matching sky blue color.

VW photo op.
Life is better in Florida. Great shirt, honey.

We even got to make it to Sloppy Joe's to watch Patrick's BFF Brian's band play, Uproot Hootenanny.

And magically appeared a perfect rainbow.

Lobster did happen on this trip, which was fitting because it was lobster fest in Key West while we were there, but of course, no lobster pictures.
