Declan: 4 months + Harlee: 18 months

At this time in our sweet boy's life, he holds my pointer finger with his whole hand, gives me wide, open mouth, toothless giggles and grins, looks kinda like Papa with his bald-ish head, he's totally growing out of your 3-6 month clothes (already), and loves to suck his thumb to go to sleep. 

Declan's 4 month old checkup was Friday - he is15 lbs, 2.5 oz! He's healthy and strong and we are thankful to have two healthy babies.

You also flip over like a champ.... sometimes.

Harlee Faye is such a joy to be around. While some could argue this is a bad trait, sometimes she smiles at strangers and gives them a little wave. I like to think that she's giving it to the people who need to see a genuine smile that day.

Her little BFF is Lennon Grace, and they started music lessons together this past week. When I play the CD in the car for her, she already tries to "sing" along!

She's in a phase these past two weeks, where all she wants is for me or Patrick to hold her, so it's, "hold you, hold you, hold you" all day long, but I don't mind. I'll hold that little girl whenever she wants :) Except when I'm hungry...

She has so many words now - my favorite at the moment being "awesome!" After telling her we're going to see Aunt Katie and Baby Lily the other day, she responded with "awesome!" and I melted.
